joy of fapping
It was based on a true story. And more times than not this happens on some level in this twisted world.
Dude thinks she was a protagonist lol
The sad part is that THIS REALLY HAPPENS but they’re apparently giving a very typically Hollywood version of it.
A woman I fell in love with years ago told me this was her fav film. The relationship was short lived but to this day I still rewatch see the beauty in this film. I'll never know why she loved it but it hasn't stopped me from still enjoying and being immersed in it
People don't think right now days vhs tapes more free whiching in your house now days everything proven you put out money only the one time on VHS tapes and VCR players cleaning tapes everything else what you get off eBay and Amazon now days everything proven when they come in your house that is where they become free whiching until you get rid of them
Time to become a pirate once more…
Take the walk
I do think that Tashi does love Art but she has difficulty expressing her feelings. She would not have given a child to Art if she didn't love him. She made sure to plead with Patrick to throw the game because she doesn't want to leave Art. Also you can see her difficulty expressing her feelings when Art told her that Patrick did not love her. She was hurt and called Art a horrible friend but she tried to downplay wanting love by saying she didn't need someone to love her. Art is the one that asks her to join his team and she tells him that would not be a good idea due to their history with Patrick but he convinces her because he says he wants her in his staff not out of pity but because he wants to win. Tashi's love for Art definitely wanes as he loses the passion for the sport but she's still willing to lower herself to plead with cocky Patrick so she wouldn't have to leave Art. And I do think that she loves her daughter and her mom, but she's a professional that is coaching her husband to be one of the top tennis players in the world and that requires a huge time commitment. It's the tradeoff that comes with being the best in your profession. The fact that she got her mom to be her daughter's babysitter/teacher and not a stranger shows that she cares about her daughter's well-being as does her wanting to stay in places that her daughter feels more comfortable in
It reminded me of when my good friend died. This digital world makes it weird. Like our messenger chat that was right there, it really felt like i could write there and he would probably see it somehow.
Let's see the wedding poster!
Ben Platt’s father Mark Platt is a very powerful man so of course they tell him he can do it but his voice is incredible but yes he’s odd looking. They should’ve done the movie five years sooner.
Brilliant.
Yes. ( Sorry, I'm late )
I love it
You don't love it because you cant relate exactly with this guy? So do you say that about movies with black main characters? Astronauts? Planet of the Apes? Titanic? Sorry but dumb statement. Amazing movie.
I was so rooting for her son to save her , it was tough to watch
Charlize Therone's character was insufferable in Fury Road.
Its honestly disturbing how many people defending joe in the comments . I dont think kathleen was a complete angel either and its odd no one mentions the fact that they were both emotionally cheating on their partners and being super sneaky and deceiving. But joe uses so much manipulation, purposely makes kathleen feel like trash by standing her up and then showing up as himself and making her feel worse . Him coming into her home without permission and touching her face made me so uncomfortable. I think the story could of been romantic if he had just apologized for ruining her life and instead used his money to buy her shop and gift it back to her. I could see kathleen running a childrens center since she loved kids so much and reading to them.
Loved it! Fury Road was a legendary chase movie and Furiosa was a sprawling Roman Epic.
True everywhere, this is happening out there!
Regarding light bulb life, my HT2050A is at 7,100 hours on the original bulb and the image is still awesome even though it has technically become less bright with time as the bulb is older, but even with that condition in mind the image is super bright and the colors are still amazing. I do already have the bulb replacement on the side lol just waiting for the bulb to give out any time now lol and no, I haven't ran EcoMode on the projector for too much. My EcoMode hours are 110hrs
He became the tree!
My only real big let down about Furiosa was the score. The music for Fury Road is absolutely iconic but Furiosa to me has almost no notable music, it's mostly just ambient droning, like most modern day scores are now (I think Hans Zimmer started this trend). The only good music in Furiosa is lifted from Fury Road or surprisingly BvS.
“Do you have it in you to make it epic?” - It’s about Fury Road
Unfortunately the writer lacked knowledge of the world of the unseen and HOW to access it Which he was trying to potray but his lack of knowledge caused many gaps in the movies which caused the 3 parts to be individual and did NOT intertwine and may complete sense

I feel lucky to be back in George Miller's world. Loved Furiosa.
1:35 Joy's reaction to the number of copies you have on Blu-ray.
Great video!
I watched this movie in the theater on opening weekend. It has since been one of my favorite movies. The score is one of the best as well. I've watched it probably a hundred times. I think there's no doubt that future Tom is the same man as in the present. It is possible that the past scenes are a portrayal of Izzie's book. But some of the scene connections and some of the statements made by Tom and Izzie seem to indicate that they might actually be the conquistador and the queen. Whether that's through reincarnation, I don't know. The ending is clearly Tom becoming the first man. And the scene of the conquistador at the tree connects to his realization that he was first man. So first, his original intention was to bring the tree to Xibalba to resurrect Izzie and live forever. But by the time he gets there he realizes that him dying was how they would live together forever. Even after so many views, it still makes you think. And it's definitely a visual masterpiece.
U guys are married?!
Probably the best action movie of the year, but I was still disappointed. I just don't understand why he made this movie. There's nothing in Furiosa that makes Fury Road more interesting or gives more insight into the characters. He should have made a new Mad Max movie, which we will now never get.
I think they digitally reduced her height when they transitioned to Anya. Agreed with 'Joy'.
And apparently it's already bombing, wth 😢
For the algorithm 🎉
Just watched Furiosa and Fury Road back to back, it's shocking how much better Fury Road looks. Still enjoyed Furiosa allot, it's fun. But man, what happend to make it look so weird?
Did Mr. David Chen play his wife off the show? The music started a little early there.
I was so bored during this movie. The action was boring, the score lacked the punch of Fury Road, had a ton of cheap looking CGI, and it spent a lot of time just futzing around. Crap.
I was really impressed with the visual storytelling. The camera choices and movement. Completely captivated by the action scenes throughout despite them being overly long and sometimes repetitive. That’s why I think every time I noticed poor CGI or an unrealistic looking shot I found myself forgiving the movie for it. This is a good addition to the Mad Max saga and doesn’t really need to be better than Fury Road. Also love the videos you guys have together. You compliment each other’s personalities very nicely. Now off to patiently wait for the Filmcast review!
@davechensky Regarding the child actors face Anya Taylor Joy revealed in an interview with Stephen Colbert that George Miller blended her face with the young actors face. So at the beginning of the movie there is about 35% of Anya Taylor Joy's face and then it's progressively dialed up to 80% before Anya Taylor Joe herself completely takes over the role.
Yeah, this really worked...
I was honestly a bit disappointed after seeing the film. I more or less counted on it not being able to live up to Fury Road but I thought it would be more interesting. I didn't think the movie provided any real new information that I couldn't infer from Fury Road. Sure it provides a lot of details but not that interesting ones in my opinion. It doesn't have the same intensity or energy throughout either but feels a bit more muted and mellow where Fury Road felt like an adrenaline shot to the heart. I am inclined to think that it's intentional though because it seems like this movie is designed to be seen back to back with Fury Road where you see this one first. The visual effects were way more obvious in this one compared to Fury Road as well. I will have to watch it again and hopefully it grows on me.
It's always a treat to get your breakdowns. I share the sentiment about trepidation around prequels.
I didn't feel there was an overreliance of CGI, but there are some shots where the roto and comping are not as good as they should be.
Any coverage on Megalopolis coming up?
A review is up at my newsletter, decodingeverything.com!
Astro Tom represents the higher self. Once the higher self reaches full enlightenment, the journey can be complete and begin again.
Just saw the film. Just another Mary Sue overly capable female protagonist.
Serious question: did you watch fury road and have the same problem? (If so, why watch this one?)
Whose self-insert is she? George Miller's?
She has a male mentor who trains her on driving the war rig and fighting and she falls in love with him. She gets her ass kicked through a lot of the movie. She uses her wits and quickness to get the best of her enemies, not physical strength. The movie knows that she’s not a physically powerful woman. She has an arc. A Mary Sue is a female character who does nothing wrong and is perfect. Furiosa isn’t that at all. Either you haven’t seen the movie, or you simply just don’t like seeing an “icky stupid girl” in a lead role in an action/sci-fi movie. Yes, the movie is inferior to Fury Road and has some truly terrible green screen work, but the faults in the film don’t lie in it being your average “girl boss” movie. Just a random question, do you have a clubhouse that says “NO GURLZ ALLOWD” on the door?
@@lostintechnicolor I have seen the movie and she is definitely a Mary Sue given special treatment all the way through the film. You are obviously so used to it your self that you don't even recognise your own privilege. Such conceit.
Just like Aliens& Terminator etc huh???
Maaaan I was impatiently waiting for the Filmcast review to drop and BAM this video drops THANK YOU!
I went there in 2002. Lived in the Seattle outskirts in the late 90’s. This place is a dream come true for film lovers.
This movie is typical white logic 🙄
